Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Operator

Bookings are made with MINHO FERRAGE TURISMO UNIPESSOAL LDA, NIPC 519 004 906, operator of Quinta dos Ferrage, Local Accommodation registered under RNAL no. 6765/AL.

2. Request and confirmation

Requests made through the website, by email, phone or WhatsApp do not constitute a booking. A booking is only valid once confirmed in writing by Quinta dos Ferrage, stating the house, dates, number of guests and total price.

3. Prices

Prices are per house and per stay, including VAT at the applicable legal rate. Special prices may apply off-season and on public holidays. They include bed linen and towels, cleaning before arrival, parking and access to the estate's shared spaces, unless otherwise stated.

Extra services (breakfast, cot, extra towels, extra bed, check-out cleaning and premium services) are charged separately and subject to confirmation.

4. Payment

The amount and deadline of any deposit, accepted payment methods and the deadline for the balance are stated in the booking confirmation.

5. Cancellation and changes

Cancellation and date-change conditions are stated in the booking confirmation and accepted by the guest before payment. We recommend taking out travel insurance.

6. Check-in and check-out

Check-in is between 4pm and 7pm and check-out by 10am. Arrivals outside these hours must be arranged in advance.

By law, foreign guests are registered with the competent authorities, so an identity document is requested at check-in.

7. Capacity and use

Each house may only be occupied by the maximum number of people stated in the booking. The pool, jacuzzi and other shared spaces are shared between guests and are used at the guests' own responsibility. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

Parties and visits by non-resident guests require prior authorisation.

8. Damage and liability

Guests are liable for damage caused to the houses and the estate's spaces during their stay.

9. Complaints and disputes

A Complaints Book is available in physical and electronic form (www.livroreclamacoes.pt). If a consumer dispute arises, you may contact CIAB - Tribunal Arbitral de Consumo, Rua D. Afonso Henriques, n.º 1, 4700-030 Braga, geral@ciab.pt, tel. 253 617 604.

10. Gift vouchers

Quinta dos Ferrage gift vouchers have a minimum value of €100 and are intended for a stay in the estate's houses, subject to availability.

The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used for a single stay.

The voucher is personal: it is issued to a single beneficiary and cannot be transferred to another person or resold.

The voucher is issued and sent by email once payment is confirmed. To use it, the beneficiary books directly with Quinta dos Ferrage, quoting the voucher code.

You may withdraw from the purchase of the voucher within 14 days of the purchase date, without giving any reason, provided the voucher has not been used; in that case, the amount paid is refunded in full within 14 days at the latest. After this period, the voucher value is non-refundable, without prejudice to other consumer rights under Portuguese law.
